Junior Driver Driving Course - Under 17's Driving Course in Bristol and Bath

This is an excellent course, which allows 16 year olds to gain actual practical driving experience with a qualified Driving Instructor, using a private road network, to prepare them for when they take their real driving lessons when they reach 17

  • The course is held in association with both the Northavon Driving Instructors Association (N.A.D.I.A) and South Gloucestershire Council's Road Safety Unit
  • Get off to a flying start with this off-road course for the under 17's
  • This is a well established course, and has been successfully running on a regular basis since August 1996
  • The duration of the course is spread over a six week period
  • The course comprises of six hours of in car sessions and seven and a half hours of theory sessions
  • The Theory Sessions are carried out at Yate Leisure Centre
    • They are held on Thursday evenings between 6.45pm and 8.00pm
    • You will gain some valuable knowledge which will help you get on the right track to pass your theory test
    • You will be shown how you can minimise the risk of having a crash
  • The Practical Sessions are carried out at South Gloucestershire Council's Transport Depot, Broad Lane, Yate
    • Sessions are usually held on a Saturday morning (but may also be on a Sunday depending on numbers attending)
    • Sessions last one hour, usually starting at 9.00am (but may also start at 10.00am or 11.00am)
    • You will learn basic control skills in the safety of a private road network, allowing you to gain confidence ahead of your first "real" road lesson
    • You will share your practical lessons with two other students, taking it in turns to get behind the wheel
    • You will be able to make new friends, share experiences, knowledge and understanding whilst having fun
    • All our instructors are fully qualified and have modern dual-controlled cars
  • No Driving Licence is needed to participate on the course, so what are you waiting for?
  • All this for less than £8.00 per hour means this course represents excellent value for money
  • The course costs £96.00 and you can either pay in full with your application, or you can pay a deposit of £32.00 with your application, with the balance payment of £64.00 due on your first theory lesson***
  • NOTE - You will need to make your own way to both the theory and practical sessions

This is a no obligation course, you do not have to stay with Look Driving School upon completion of your Under 17's - Junior Driver Driving Course, however, we aim to make your first driving experience both rewarding and fun, whilst making good steady progress and hope that we do enough for you to want to continue your tuition with us.
